About the Role

This full-time trainee position is based in Lavington, Monday to Friday. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients and colleagues, managing a variety of tasks to ensure the business runs smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

Answering telephone calls and responding to emails.
Scheduling appointments and handling general administrative tasks.
Learning and using systems like CAMS (Capital Asset Management System) to monitor client security (once licensed).
Ensuring our clients feel valued and supported.

We provide comprehensive training to help you succeed, so no previous experience is required.

This role is perfect if you’re looking to kickstart your career in administration or transition into a new industry.

What You Bring

Great communication skills to engage with clients and team members.
Intermediate computer skills to adapt to our systems.
Willingness to learn and meet the requirements to obtain a NSW Security License 1E and 2B (don’t worry, we’ll guide you through it).
A current driver’s license is preferred but not essential.

About the Role

This full-time apprenticeship is based in Lavington, servicing the Albury/Wodonga and Wagga regions. You’ll:

Install and program CCTV, alarm systems, and access control hardware.
Gain hands-on experience with the latest security technology.
Work alongside industry experts to solve real-world challenges.
Be supported to understand over 30 years of advancements in security while learning how to lead with cutting-edge solutions.

The role is primarily Monday to Friday, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts within our 24/7 operations. You’ll also complete a Telecommunications Apprenticeship while earning competitive pay.

What You Bring

A keen interest in electronics, technology, and solving problems.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
Dedication to learning through a mix of online and practical training.
A driver’s licence (or working towards your provisional licence).
The ability to meet the requirements for a NSW Security Licence 1E and 2B (don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this process).

Duties

Security of Premises for clients
Provide a visible security presence providing assistance as required
Ensure clients premises are secure as directed in Site Operational Procedures (SOP)
Monitor compliance with standard operating procedures and check and notify relevant people of any variations
Manage faults and inconsistencies according to local procedures
Complete all required documentation clearly, concisely and on time
Pass on end of shift information to oncoming staff.

Locking and securing of site

About the Role

Multiple Casual positions available with the opportunity to move to permanent based in Corowa.

Duties

Provide access control and weighbridge duties
Provide a visible security presence providing assistance as required
Mobile patrols and security checks as per organisational policies and procedures
Ensure clients premises are secure as directed in Site Operational Procedures (SOP)
Conduct radio checks with duty staff according to procedures
Monitor compliance with standard operating procedures and check and notify relevant people of any variations
Manage faults and inconsistencies according to local procedures
Complete all required documentation clearly, concisely and on time
Pass on end of shift information to oncoming staff.
Based on Level 2 of the Security Services Industry Award 2010

Words will never be able to express just how amazing our team are and continue to be.

During 2021 they:

covered shifts when COVID craziness struck and clients needed guard 30 minutes ago
covered shifts for each other to allow colleagues to spend special occasions together with family when the opportunity arose
delivered coffee to each other when someone came in and ended up with a longer than planned shift
made sure that all the normal services were provided without missing a beat (and believe us, with some of the border closures, this was no easy task)
manned phones from anywhere needed as we couldn’t be in the office

The biggest and most wonderful part!

They laughed and joked with each other and made coming to work, making a call to them, or working together an enjoyable and pleasurable experience, even if some of them have an “unusual” sense of humour 😳😂.

While the world had it’s ups and downs, our people just got the job done and without protest, complaint, or issue.
